This is exactly what I expect, so I never got tripped up by this. But yes, it’s worth pointing out that this will expand the executable flag on files that are already executable and set it on folders too. But not set it on files that aren’t executable at all.

Most people who survive a suicide attempt are very happy they did. Suicidal ideation should not be promoted, it’s a mental health emergency. Also, what you will see even more often is people being bullied into a situation like that. This is really a situation with minuscule to no benefits and enormous potential for harm, so I really don’t get why people argue for it. Bodily autonomy yes, very sick people should be allowed to end their lives on their terms. I absolutely agree with that. Anything else is just bullshit.

My first kid was an absolute nightmare as a baby. I was so sleep deprived, that I dreamt I murdered someone and for a week I was terrified and convinced that the police would arrest me soon. Then I remembered in another dream that it was just a dream. I still remember the sense of relief.

I started with Linux on a 2.0 kernel, in 1995 or 96. I only had one computer and there were no smartphones. There was no option besides rawdogging Linux. You pampered youngsters don’t know how good you have it!
