I’d hope that they will stick to non-retroactivity for new laws and rulings on AI, or else the world will have a giant mess on its hands. But I have the feeling that we’re moving towards an eventual, enduring weakening of copyright law, which is totally fine by me. Copyright has done more harm than good to the world (imo).

Calling for the murder of other people in a public forum is never wise. At best, you could (should) be permanently banned. At worst, police could show up at your house and lock you away forever (the world would be better place for it!).

You lost all reasonable people at “acab’s”. No one will ever meaningfully rally behind your movement as long as you spread braindead takes like these. It’s poisonous for the left to be affiliated with you.

Just a little fun fact: POSIX does not specify any standard filesystem directories in the way that the FreeDesktop Filesystem Hierarchy Standard (FHS) does for Linux and Unix-likes. MacOS remains a fully POSIX-certified Unix system.
That is simply counter-factual. LLMs can absolutely do things that have not been published before, and they can access knowledge that is not in their training data through RAG. Intelligence is debatable, but reasoning models can reliably imitate “thinking” to a degree, and recursive self-improvement might lead to an autonomous advancement of intelligence. That LLMs allegedly “only regurgitate information” is simply wrong.
