Do they look like the photo? I like the bulky frames look, myself. My (non-smart) glasses are rounder but similarly large.

Phantasy Star Online (with the broadband adapter, and also local co-op with a couple of my high school buddies), Sonic Adventure 2 Battle (I had all A ranks!), Super Smash Bros. Melee (an especially big hit in college!), Soul Calibur II, Metroid Prime… there was some great stuff on the Gamecube!

I can’t remember which game it was now, but I’ve definitely played some indie game that has fake load screens because I remember someone modded them out and asked the dev why they existed, and the response was that the dev found the instant transition between scenes jarring. It’s not crazy to think Big N would do the same thing.

I think it depends a lot on how much you like serious stories in your video games. I prefer lighthearted games so I didn’t even make it through the first one, but my best friend loves them.
I mean, I’m the guy in the picture, but I’m not offended, I already know I’m terrible.
