Is this the correct URL? adguard-dns.io
I don’t know, I don’t have any accounts with them or anything, I just point the private DNS on my phone to dns.adguard.com. I used Mulvad’s one before but it seemed a little flaky, so I can’t really recommend that to non-techies (who otherwise would be using nothing).
I’m always keen to try out a more privacy-respecting service (that’s why I tried out Quad9, I appreciate your post!) but ultimately ads are privacy-invading malware so that’s something I need to block.

For private DNS on my phone I’ve been using dns.adguard.com for a no-install-required adblocker I can set up on anyone’s device. Quad9’s one (dns.quad9.net) doesn’t seem to have adblocking.

It also had atrocious controllers.
I’ll need an explanation on this one. The GameCube controller was very comfortable to hold, especially compared to the tiny PS2 controller or that giant Xbox one!

Absolutely, a singular “British accent” is something that only Americans seem to think exists, and they usually mean RP (the posh accent found mostly in the south east of England).
Scotland, England, Wales, all part of Britain, and all have plenty of wildly different accents within them. Compare Geordie, West Country, Cockney, Scouse, and Brummie. Even the accents between Scotland’s two main cities, Glasgow and Edinburgh, are completely different.
So yeah, if someone says they love a “British accent” just respond in Glaswegian and see how they like it!

Amusingly LineageOS seems to support the S20 and the S22 but not yours!
I’ve been buying cheap used Pixels for the past few years (as in getting one, putting GrapheneOS on it, using it until it starts nagging me that it’s really definitely absolutely going to stop giving me security updates soon, and then looking around for deals on a newer old Pixel). GrapheneOS seems pretty good as something that gives you some good privacy and security while actually being usable as a daily driver, plus its absolutely trivial to install. If you’re feeling decadent you could wait for the supposed Motorola GrapheneOS phone next year instead, but there’s very little known about that.

I’m just going off memory, but sky tv already provided computer-related services and products in Britain, so it’s not unreasonable for them not to want another company essentially using their name for a product that could quite easily be confused as to being associated with them
