Since I live in Denmark as a non-Dane, I can tell first-hand that these articles tend to ignore/gloss-over that Danes tend to be pretty xenophobic.
It’s so prevalent (and denied by Danes) that in the last few years the term “hygge-racism” was used to describe it.
