You can run an LLM, but it will be limited. Look into Open Vino Model Server.
I’d recommend a minimal install distro (Ubuntu server, Arch, Gentoo, etc…), then add the things you need from there.

I don’t know how the South Korean legal system works, but this sounds a bit like “release with conditions” we sometime have after arrest in the US.
Reading the article, dangerous stalking seems to be increasing. I hope someone is looking into what’s creating that motivation.

I like the synthetic. “Synthetic Language Response” I think is a good descriptor.
The goal is to respond to a query with grammatically correct grammar and adherence to the topic. That seems to work quite well.
“Correct responses”; I’ve never seen that on the packaging.

Dunno if it still works, but I use to ask the Amazon echo to play Abbott and Costello (from “who’s on first?” fame). What it played included the commercials of the day.
You could hear the advertisers make the claim that Lucky Strike cigarettes were approved by a majority of doctors.

I’m looking for a source as well. The “apparently” I used was supposed to cover the whole comment, but I can see how it didn’t.
The video goes into detail, and could be staged, but comments seem to support the idea anyway.
Amazon devices are known to do this with other Amazon products to create a mesh.
It’s not outside the realm of possibility.

They can sidestep them as long as the power to supply them is “islanded” (not connected to the grid).
It’s a tiny win for impacted neighborhoods concerned about rates going up. It does nothing for quality of life though.
