I believe that only applies to the Gulf of Mexico, though.
EDIT: I was wrong, it turns out the US is supposed to see Lake America, Canada is supposed to see Lake Ontario, and the rest both.

Nobody used hibernation? I beg to differ. I know plenty of people who use it. I just about never use the shutdown function, at least not on my daily driver. Closing a whole bunch of windows I still need and then opening them up after shutting down is a waste of time IMO. I much prefer to just continue where I left off. Also helps me get back into what I was doing earlier much better.
The options never changed, the difference is what the shutdown option does. Starting with Windows 8 AFAIK, shutdown only logs you off and then hibernates. The result is it looks like it has shut down, but starts up faster, since the kernel only has to be restored and not fully started. And honestly, when I read the article, the vast majority of problems they list are not problems stemming from the hybrid shutdown function, but from somewhere else, with hybrid shutdown just exacerbating the problem.

You're constantly arguing that the sample is so strongly skewed against your position that the proportion of people who want AI is over 4 times (!) as much as in the sample. "Everyone" is an exaggeration, but the point remains. If you believe the sample is that skewed, then you have to provide evidence.
