I assume they mean slice of life?
Why would “slice of life” be “domestic”? That doesn’t make sense to me.
id guess probably more in the sense of happening around the home and everyday slice of life type settings
Domestic means related to the home. We also use it to mean related to the home land, but that’s a secondary meaning (though that’s probably the more common usage nowadays).
