My dream phone:
- UEFI (can boot any OS without 2 months of porting and a risk of bricking)
- Repairable, but also upgradeable (thanks to UEFI)

  While UEFI is better than the garbage we currently have it’s still shit in comparison to proper firmware like OPAL

      Open Power Abstraction Layer, it’s the way to boot the system on OpenPower devices, but it’s basically just a Linux kernel that kexecs
