Feudal Tactics is awesome!

Someone recommended Feudal Tactics for Android the other day and I’ve been hooked ever since.
This map here has prevented me from falling asleep yesterday. In my first attempt I ended up holding the north with a crusader stationed at the choke point against brown who held the south. But their army starved and in my naïveté I pounced on him to prevent my own starvation only to leave an opening for them to enter my territory and ultimately win the game.
I kept thinking about how I could have been more methodical and reached an equilibrium that let me gather more resources.
I ended up replaying that map (losing several times) to reach the same state. But this time their army didn’t starve. Mine didn’t either but we had a crusader against a crusader and no way to get around it.
I ended up gathering a ton of resources and taking a note out of their book. I opened up a small path form them to accomodate their whole army and closed it afterwards and used the opened up way to now more methodically conquer their lands.
Felt good.

You can root your Quest 1 or later and remove all the Meta stuff. Or you can disable wifi.
You will probably have to use pirated apps to keep them working.

Nah, the point is to encrypt the traffic and tell you what you are receiving really comes from example.com and not an evil third party.

Usually they make money with extended certificates where they not only offer a certificate for example.com but also certify that it belongs to Example Ltd.
Those extended certificates used to show the company name next to address bars, but I don’t think browsers do that anymore.

They do that quite often. Fully EU compliant would be if it had a disagree button right next to agree.
Highest one I’ve seen was around 1700.

No idea how you got to Anubis. Image downloads are specifically exempt from it. Just opening the images URL should not even let you touch Anubis.

Back in the day you’d have to define a transform (maybe transform3d) anyways to force hardware acceleration on iPhone. Transform just made stuff run better.

Often enough they are just poorly thrown together ROM collections. Often enough the worst ROM available is used. And they have numbers at the beginning of their names to sort them by whatever insane quality metric the company had, so good luck finding anything good.
I’d only buy one where you can supply your own ROMs. They are cheap enough these days.
No idea why Nintendo and Co let them do this. Sometimes they don’t contain games by the big companies. But most of the time they actually do.

I bought a Fairphone 3 for the reparability but the damn thing just won’t break! I don’t think I’ve abused any phone as much as the FP but it just keeps chugging along without so much as a tear in the screen.
I think it’s because of the frame reaching half a mm or so above the screen and the battery cover opening up when I drop it.

Theoretically you could calculate if someone will starve with a given army and territory. Every plate gives you 1 income. Every peasant costs 2 upkeep per round. Spearmen cost 6, knights 18 and crusaders 54.
You get the values for your own territory. Eg you know how much you have saved and how much you earn or lose every round. Every territory has its own values. You have to connect territories to combine their savings and income.

Oh, hell yeah! The kids had some troubles with emulated Mario Kart on the Steam Machine the other day. This should make it significantly easier.
Edit: Meh, looks like it needs an external launcher for now. I was hoping for a simple executable I just point at the ROM.

Buying a house is always advisable if you can afford it. And on the privacy front I think it is the best protected space we have. Not just by law but also by robust doors.
Not having to worry about a landlord who feels entitled is also pretty great.

Fuckin’ finally!
I’m basically running mine without Meta since they mandated the switch from an Oculus to a Meta account.
I’m still pissed that they dropped support a month before adding the ability to use it while lying down to the Quest 2. All it basically does is allow you to set the head tilt to 0. That was so hard that it took them years to implement. My disabled ass could have really used it.

Got one for really cheap about a year or so before support was dropped. It still gets regular use. Although I’ve been waiting for the Frame for the more open system. Would be funny if this exploit enabled me to install SteamOS on it.

Port forward your SSH-server. You can forward ports through SSH to access web services or others running on the server or anything else in the network.
But only allow access through keys. And maybe try to use a different port than 22. That usually gets hammered a lot, trying to find accounts with weak passwords.

It’s a way for the devs to get some revenue. Doesn’t mean that you have to buy it. Same with Shattered Pixel Dungeon. Super Tux is also on Steam but not paid.

Reminds me of the Star Craft board game. It’s super awesome but also pretty complex and in that complexity really managed to capture what it’s like to play the video game.
It takes a long time to complete and on top of that we always have to re-learn it which leads to us playing it less which of course exacerbates the problem.
