He’s the lead singer of Blur, Damon Albarn. This has been known since day 1 as far as I know. He was famous before Gorillaz and when you hear Blur its obvious its his voice.
did a road trip once to nyc in the early 2000s with my bud and only once we got there, I realized, hey! Blur is playing tomorrow night! we can still try to get tickets. I don’t remember why we were there. We saw some cool museums and met up with some cool people and shit. But the fucker claimed to never have heard of Blur, but I knew he was a fan of Oasis. I couldn’t put it together enough to convince him this was an awesome opportunity. Years later the fucker was like, yeah, sorry about that. Seriously what I did not do was ditch my friend to go to an awesome show, because why would I ditch my friend, even though he’s an asshole.
