i’ve had this image since march this year and i have somehow not used it in a post yet. now i have.
i present to you: baby burgers. the one displayed is the baby whopper. not very whopping, is it?
anyway, i’m a bit hungry but also not really soooo umm imma go eepy sleepy now. it’s late and i got group therapy tomorrow ~ughhhh~ ~it~ ~sucks~ ~so~ ~bad…~ and i might visit BK afterwards sooooo yea whatever. maybe. maybe not. probably? dunno. can’t tell, am not hungry rn.
just so u know: the burgers are not all that tasty. they are fine, but you should just get regular burgers instead.

Couple months back I had a sleeve gastrectomy, which is basically where they remove most of your stomach. And there are some crazy effects from this, like if I eat any beef I’ll immediately puke it back up. And today when I had fries for dinner they also hurt like I was eating rocks.
So I get to discover all the cool things I used to be able to eat and now can’t anymore. I’m happy that poultry is still fine, I kinda always preferred chiccy anyway, but bovine meat and pork are out, so no steak, hamburgurs etc. :(
Also fish, but I don’t like fish anyway, so this doesn’t bother me.
Dang bruh, don’t want to get into your business but hopefully the cons aren’t too bad in comparison to the pros!
Is this something you’ll have to deal with forever, or is it like a recovery period and then you’ll be able to reintroduce those foods?
naww ask away, this was a voluntary OP to help me lose weight. so I have an appointment next week for the first time to check my vitals, but as far as I know it’s mostly permanent.
I do have to take a shitton of vitamins every day, but after my OP I had a roommate who went thru the same surgery a few years back, and he said after the appointment that I have next week they told him he doesn’t have to take a particular vitamin anymore. It would be great if I didn’t need those 1000mg calcium supplements anymore hehe, but I think the multivitamins are gonna be permanent.
As for the intolerances, I do think they’re permanent, as my roommate also said he had to change his diet and I don’t think that returns to normal. The post OP information did mention that these particular types of food can cause issues, and I should retry a intolerant food after 4 weeks, but it’s been a few months so I think I’m locked out of that particular branch of food
