it’s been some time since the last purplepost, so here we are again. this one *might be the most intense one to date.

you might notice that Whites arm clips into the sofa. i really really tried not to let that happen, but the other option would have been to either change the hands color or to have it be even harder to tell what pose White is taking exactly. sooo i think this is a fair tradeoff.

some day i really might wanna transition to a style where each arm gets a slightly different shade so one can tell them apart, even when they are right in front of one another.

i chose the generic android phone size which Pixels and samsung phones use today cuz i thought that might represent the largest amount of peeps here.

some of y’all might notice a problem when trying out these wallpapers: they look smudgy or low quality despite you downloading the high quality version. that is because you phone assumes the image is not pixel art so it tries to smooth it out, making it… yeah, less crunchy. to combat this, here are upscaled variants which preserve the crunchiness of the pixels:

this should resolve the bluriness you may find with the original resolution images.

the post is inspired by some baby food charts. certain charts called regular food “challenging” which i thought sounded like a difficulty mode.

i’m somewhat proud of how this looks. been playing some splatoon raiders which has really good UI. it’s fast to understand and use. wonderful.

it also has these “spicy” and “extra spicy” versions of levels where the enemies are literally displayed as having more salt on them. very funny. would have liked to see some other spices as well but oh well that’s hoping for too much i guess.

so i was on some matrix chat and yapped and then wrote something cuz goooosh i got such… energy in me and i just don’t know where to safely put it so i wrote the bit and i really gotta put more posts to catch up again (still gotta make one more) so now this is what you get. i postified version of a message i sent on matrix. i’m sorry for the stark quality decline buuuuut… maybe you’ll still enjoy this.

potato soup is really tasty, it’s reasonably healthy, it makes me go “aaaah yees i like this”, it’s a true feel-good-food and it makes you full!

this kind of “editing a product to be something else” thing is really fun. i like the process of covering up the original and putting new things on there. it’s a relaxing workflow. airbrush go “pff pfffff”
