    after fiddling around with gradle all morning, i can kind of understand this. thankfully, android studio handled it all well enough for me.
    
    (android studio is amazing. it kinda does things for you and magically fixes everything. truly amazing. i always hated java but now i love programming with it.)

      Kotlin was such an upgrade from Java for me. Like Java bit for people who actually value their time
