No Man's Sky's next Expedition adds a quasi documentary to the game

This is a really cool idea, the new expedition for NMS won’t just make you experience the new content. No, it will actually works as a documentary/museum that take you through the content added to the game from the first update in 2016 to the latest update in 2026

You will get to unlock/experience every feature added through the last 10 years while also unlocking spacelogs that have the devs commentary about the game development and these features

It’s like an in-game documentary/museum wrapped in a new campaign! Honestly I usually skip most expeditions, but this one seems to be extra unique and really worth it

• 90% of the content is always there

  The 10% are on rotation every year they rerun some of them and you can do them then

  If you play on PC there’s a mod that fix this and let you play any expedition you want.

• It’s very decent, i loved it.

  Is there improvements i would like to see? Yeah sure the vampire combat for example doesn’t feel unique enough from the human combat, and the time feature feels more like a gimmick outside of the first day intro of the game where it actually felt like you have to manage time and miss stuff

  On the other side the story is nice, the side content is nice, the world exploration is nice, and the time mechanic even with it being a gimmick still nice to have some awareness of time even if i think they should go more hardcore on it
