What are the tools for your self-hosted lemmy experience?

Good day everyone!
I finally got arround to hosting my own lemmy instance and I decided to make it all about my island. You are free to look (TW: Spanish).
So to help start things up I decided I’d grab an RSS bot and populate a couple communities with local newspapers. This one seems to be very promising as all the others I’ve found had the typical unmaintained errors and had 2+ years on their belt.
So now that I’ve had one tool on my belt I wonder what’s in everyone’s toolbelt. What do you use to manage the instances?

Gotcha, so, as an example, the postgress instance would calculate once the statistics of a view and you’d store that onto redis.
I operate with the logic of “If I don’t know what something is for cut it out and see what breaks” and I’ve yet to really have a need of an in-memory database tho, I think I’d find an use for it for one case where I get deadlocks for data that I really want to be up to date.

Oh yeah, we wouldn’t be having this convo on some place that blocked me for my gender/sexuality. Anytime a community like that graces my feed I block it shortly after.
About FOSS yeah, I just host my stuff on codeberg (joined cuz of the anti ai stuff) and make my own shit for anyone to see, did a couple commits for some other projects but I’m very into doing my own thing and I’m basically self-taught so my code ain’t the best.
About working on something you hate? Yeah, I get it. I work also as a programmer and I hated every moment I had to dig up someone else’s C/AL code (proprietary Microsoft ERP coding language).

Yeah, we’re basically tit for tat on that. I embraced being alone a bit too much and now I’m without a support system. I do have a some people I can meet nearby but defo none I’d call friends.

I think the spell was just a simple token of gesture to make sure they don’t feel indebted. The dragons Do attack villages so we’re back on the “they view us as prey” track. Both depictions of dragon murder has been shown to be self-defense.
