is so underrated. This is what makes Japanese literature so meditative and beautiful. I still remember the first time I read The Old Capital (古都, Koto) how immersive it felt to experience those pages of text where “nothing happens”. 😌🩷

Well, the wavelength of 5GHz is 5 6 cm. The smaller gaps between the bars on the individual “shelves” are 2.6 cm and the bigger gaps are 14 cm. While the smaller gaps could disrupt the waves, the bigger gaps, at which the antennas are pointed, do not.

Ah, probably the lifetime deal! I wasn’t using Linux back then. I just recently discovered that I can use their (Internxt) AppImage and
rsyncto “circumvent” all my RAM being consumed when downloading or uploading via browser. However, Internxt’s transfer cap is pretty insane… When they told me that I can’t backup a 200GBtararchive, I was so angry and disappointed. Since then, I have started think that maybe self hosting is the only viable option, but then that would be within the premises of my apartment, which would defeat the purpose of off site backups. Please excise my rambling. Anyway, pCloud now seems to have a €99 per year plan that has 4TB transfer cap per month, which sounds kind of good?
