You don’t have to move on. Even if you’re like 10,000 ly away you can still teleport back from any station if you build a portal at your base.
I still have the same shitty base I built years ago even though I’m a few thousand ly away from it now.

Star Citizen gameplay sucks because the UX and controls are horrendous.
Also a different genre of game. NMS is more like a Minecraft in space than a pure exploration/combat game.

8 GB woyldn’t be nearly enough to run a large enterprise server while also running all my other apps in the background. At work I use a MacBook with 48 GB of RAM and the memory pressure regularly goes into yellow.

I’ve been doing the gog habit for years. It’s definitely worth it. My gog library is actually bigger than my steam library now.
And if you log into gog with heroic launcher, you can also use proton to run games on Linux very easily. It’s all point and click. There’s no reason to use steam except for the fact that some games only release on steam, but somehow exclusives are fine when valve does it (according to many PC gamers).

Exactly. There are too many knee jerk responses to this position. Just banning LLM generated code is a useless gesture.
Changing the way merges and reviews are handled, as well as responsibility for them, is the actual way to address this.

How are the doctors being silly? Mr Cleans diagram shows penetration way up above the navel and you aren’t even arguing against that, you’re claiming the penetrator will bend or break first which is true. But the doctors are taking it at face value where the diagram basically describes impalement.

There’s a billion games like this, it isn’t even niche anymore. That basically describes hollow knight and a bunch of similar games.
It’s actually annoying how many new games insist on being edgelord-level difficulty because of DS. Silksong made me hate its guts after that mountain section. I’ll never buy another one of their games again because of it
Same with ER for that matter, it’s a game I’d enjoy if it didn’t force me to fight bosses like 50 times in a row. And no, I don’t want to get git gud. Too old for that shit now.

Nebula is pretty legit but you won’t be able to find everything you want to watch there.

People hate on Gnome but I think it’s actually great UI. Lots of hardcore Linux users shit on the windows UI but insist that Windows 7 UI clones are somehow peak UX. Gnome is more similar to Mac, but I find even easier to use. The super key is money on Gnome.

I would love to see OpenAI employees get arrested and then watch all their precious assets get seized. Especially because most of them sound like greedy fucks. Asus laptops are such trash. Same with Acer. I kept seeing people recommend them but every time I bought one it came with a major manufacturing defect or some important component failed almost immediately.
That happened to me three times and I had to return each laptop. So now when I buy a laptop, I only go for ThinkPads and MacBooks. And tbh it’ll only be macs going forward because Lenovo can’t be trusted.
Say what you will about apple but their hardware quality can’t be beaten and going forward there are people building Linux distros for them. So even when apple stops updating them you should have options.
Only thing that sucks is MacBooks are crazy expensive. So I buy them used/refurbed from good sellers on eBay. Haven’t had an issue yet.

We need a law that requires AI-generated videos to be watermarked and huge fines for the streaming companies that allow unmarked videos.
Sony still has good IPs to fall back on, despite all the goodwill they’ve lost lately. The PS6 will sell just fine as long they launch it with a couple recognizeable titles.
Xbox is in deep shit because first of all, they’re competing with themselves. There’s no reason to get an Xbox if you have a PC. Secondly their IPs are trash. They ruined Halo and people don’t trust Bethesda anymore. Although I do think a new ES game would still print money.
