What's your preferred style of profile setup in GrapheneOS: use Main as a daily and create other secondary profiles, or use main as an admin console?

By admin console, I mean a blank profile with nothing but stock Graphene apps on it. No Gplay store, no F droid, nothing. Its main job is to control esim, profile creation, duress pass, wifi…etc.

Or just a normal daily Main, with secondary profiles OR private spaces?

What i currently have: main profile with main Google (unfortunately), all sensitive in separate profile.

not only i rawdogged linux, i used a rolling distro with a lot of questionable security decisions (eherm… Manjaro) during grad school.

unfortunately with S0ix being forced on all modern laptops, zram is the only logical choice. With s3 sleep at least i can say i need swap because i need hibernation…With S0ix? Dont bother.

No, Navier Stokes was not “solved”. We have been using numerical methods to solve these equations approximtely since forever. The exact analytical solutions that exist for special cases are also studied; most often, these are used as baseline for comparison against new theory , new experimental results and new computer simulations. So, we have been “solving” Navier Stokes.

What OpenAI manages to achieve is answering a very specific problem relate to Navier Stoke (sorry for hand waving, not a pure math major). It is something like: given an initial flow condition, does the Navier Stoke equation predict this flow field to blow up or it stays smooth for some finite time? Result: OpenAI manages to come up with a case where the solution blow up.

Mathematically, i bet some math geniuses can expand on this finding as like a “special property” of the Navier Stoke equations.

So no we are still far solving the whole equation analytically.

even for currently running PCs, sometimes i swear to God it’s like dejavu : my laptop suddenly asks if i want to use the OneDrive and Office sub. You know that screen when you do the Win 11 setup.

The only way to exit is via the “Remind me later”, which is even more BS. You cant even Decline.

Thats why “easy to use” is very subjective.

Gnome is sure easy but if things mess up and i need to reinstall? I had to hunt and reinstall my extensions and enable the right settings. That could take like 30 mins or more, after reinstalling the distro.

In minimal setup like sway? I can literally git clone and then stow all my dot files. No more than 5 mins. I could do it with 10 beers at 3am in.

QuebeOS is cool. I tried it once and havent tried again.

I get that it is secure, but i feel like i need to rewire how my brain works. E.g. you dont open a Download folder, instead you spawn a File manager quebe and open Thunar
