Doesn’t seem very fast, but I really want this for our hackerspace. Speaking as the guy who has to print out all the meeting minutes.
The only way it could be better is if they somehow made it run on ballpoint pen ink.

I think the Estonian one (“Osta euroopat”) is wrong and translates to “Buy parts of Europe”.
I’m not fluent (just Finnish) so I don’t know what the actual correct translation would be, though looking into it I believe it might have to be three words rather than two. “Osta Euroopast” might be close but would AFAIK translate to “Buy from Europe” rather than “Buy European”.

For a lot of series I feel exactly the opposite. You spend 5 minutes reading a chapter and then weeks or months waiting for the next one. The moment-to-moment pacing is often much better in anime adaptations.
The bigger problem is that a lot of manga/novel series run on forever so the anime adaptation has no chance of ever finishing the story. This doesn’t really have anything to do with the medium and is more about the way this stuff tends to get serialized in Japan incentivizing authors to never wrap their stories up.

Isn’t the input lag going to be insane if the game runs at, say, 10 fps? This would have to come with some kind of new render pipeline where the simulation can somehow still run at a higher framerate.

That’s the difference. Printing out an A4 document full of type would take forever on a plotter and not look particularly good.
