Crunchyroll's vice president admits that despite female fans always being very present in the anime community, they've been historically underserved.

If you specifically wanted stuff aimed at female fans both Jaadugar and Journal with Witch definitely qualify.
This is awesome! I’ve seen Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood and Gurren Lagann and loved them both.
I also really liked the Trigun remake… Mostly due to the intro song which is almost too good somehow. I didn’t really love the animation style, but it was ok.
Re: ZERO sounds like How to Become the Dark Lord and Die Trying by Django Wexler. I really enjoyed it.
