i just found out what a teat is. horray!

apparently it’s like the part of an animal where their babies suckle on to get milky. horray.
It has the same origin as tit and Zitze. And yes, that is probably designed to trigger their sucking reflex.
On primates they are called nipple for some reason.
aaaah… yea that’s a weird destinction. i guess humans just went “oh on our body we call them like this and oh monkeys also have em so let’s also name em that cuz they are lookin kinda structurally similar but other animals- eh, teat.”… maybe.
