ruleback, losers
Once upon a time. There was a fox boy, his name, was Kyo.
Kyo, was a bit, unconventional. He didn’t enjoyed those typically manly things on his country, and he barely hanged out with classmates. How ever, everyone, was secure about something, everyone knew him, his identity, even Kyo himself.
Once Kyo, finished High School, the so called, security, all of sudden, gone.
He, wasn’t secure anymore about this idenitity… replaced by a fear, fear or living a lie. A lie this individual, subconsciously created, the survival instinct of self protection was stronger on Kyo, but even “he” wasn’t aware of the power of the mind.
This person, Kyo. Suddenly, rejected everything that was manly in his society.
Unsurprisingly, the town, reacted as expected, the town folks, just neglected this individual needs.
And someday Kyo, went missing. The whole town, search for clues, somebody murdered him? Local police searching, missing signs everywhere.
Until one day. A new girl showed on the town. Her name, Kyoko.
When she was going to live? She just gather the keychain that once was in Kyo’s hand, and entered into the same home as Kyo.
Everybody realized, Kyoko, wasn’t new on the town, but also, she became the happiest girl on the town.
Kyoko is back at home, she just needed to heal the society damage made on her past life.
I really don’t know why I did this, or why I wrote this story, I guess I want to put an emphasis about the past of trans characters. Regardless of how I perceive myself irl, I like to think in Kyoko as the silly yet brave trans girl I kinda wish I was.
10/10 would watch a 20 episode slice of life series of this
Like the girl hanging out while town folks figures she’s good old missing Kyo or her misadventures as a missing/transitioning person?
Could be A or B, I think A might work better though - like the townsfolk see her exploring her passions and experiencing life alongside her (think things like festivals, a cooking episode, passion projects with hijinks, etc…).
For B that could also work although I think the tone would be a lot different, and could go for mystery or something like a long-term self-discovery journey with payoff around ep. 17ish.
A is a really cute premise, B is somewhat interesting, seeing what the missing person is doing while the search is active is something I barely see being explored
I feel like you can combine both with flashbacks of B while A is happening. It would be cute slice of life most of the time, but there would be the occasional serious moments that really make the wholesomeness hit harder.
I love this story. What stops you from being (like) Kyoko? You sound like you’ve got what it needs!
Manny things but easiest answer is the environment I live, which is pretty much conservative for the most part. And the country I live has a heavy 80s ass mindset.
I still remember family being like “but men doesn’t shave” my brother in Christ in what time you think we are
Do you need help “escaping”? There are support groups out there who are funded exactly for your kind of situation.
Well, I wouldn’t say my fam is that bigoted to say I need to escape, or at least what I hope. Gonna think if the situation get worse, but when I say my country is 80s ass coded, is because it is 80s ass coded. Any organization if it even exist pretty much won’t be goverment founded, specially when we also have a stupid bi partidism where parties doesn’t seem to care about anything than proving who’s religion of economics is right.
The organizations I’m thinking of are international, either private non-profits or in nations that are more hospitable to LGBTQ+ groups (not a large list sadly).
Well considerate if something goes terribly wrong, but most of these works on first world countries, so I’m not really sure for latam, probably there’s some, if they are stablished on my country is something we’re about to see
