in my language (french) there is a distinction between a formal and informal “you” (tu/vous). I didn’t know how to adress my in laws, so for several years I twisted sentences to avoid saying “you” altogether. Like I would say “do I make a coffee” or something like that instead of “do you want a coffee”.
Oh, I did that for a bit before coming out fully. I got really good at making it sound normal. Then it took a months to shift back to gendering myself (properly of course).
What language was it? French works like that too: shifting to verbs that don’t have an audible variant, overusing passive voices, etc.

Some languages have gendered conjugations, I think Slavic tongues do that.
Other ones simply don’t have a default neutral pronoun, so to say.
