Yeah it’s an insane amount of research that gets industry funding, and it’s not always even clarified super well when the funding is more indirect. Like I remember reading this article that stood out to me

There’s of course a lot like that, but it’s worth sharing that I did run into an industry funded study once that actually found the opposite anyway despite that donor pressure
Substituting red meat with high-quality plant protein sources, but not with fish or low-quality carbohydrates, leads to more favorable changes in blood lipids and lipoproteins.
(one of the authors received support from the beef checkoff program, pork checkoff program, national dairy council, and American egg board)
