Cost estimates for a successful intercept [by Freya] are around US$700,000 per shot, compared with roughly US$3.8 million for a Patriot missile.

Now that’s a margin.

    I suspect patriots are not inherently that much more expensive. It is just the price they could fetch because there was no competition
