Musk denied he was aware Grok ever produced ‘any naked underage images’

A survivor of child sexual abuse has sued Elon Musk’s artificial intelligence company, alleging that its chatbot used pictures of her abuse to generate new illegal pornographic images that depict her.

“Using real images of Plaintiff and class members, Grok generated child pornography depicting Plaintiff and class members,” states the complaint, which was filed last week in a US district court in California.

Attorneys for the plaintiff, who is listed as Jane Doe in the case to protect her identity, accuse xAI of both generating CSAM of their client and of ingesting child sexual abuse images depicting her into the company’s datasets after new images were publicly posted.

The European Parliament’s rapporteurs on the proposed Industrial Accelerator Act are closing the EU market to Chinese investment in sectors where Beijing is dominant, going further than what the European Commission suggested.

Germany’s machinery and plant manufacturers are increasingly shifting their research activities abroad. Forty-three percent already conduct research and development outside of Germany, according to a survey of 400 member companies conducted by the industry association VDMA. More than two-thirds (69 percent) of those already conducting research abroad intend to expand their research and development activities beyond Germany’s borders.

Some context: There’s a dungeon with multiple areas with each having a seal you need to break so you can enter, and to break each seal, you need to find particular items.

To get to the final dungeon area, you need to find a rare fish called the Firesail fish, to which the RNG gods have not been in my favor. I’m nearing an in-game year and have a whole section dedicated for fishbait to try and catch this elusive dude but its just not happening yet.

Quick question, how do y’all handle big “unofficial” collection torrents with weird folder/file names that were manually added to the download client?

Is there a nice tool to use or are manual scripts the only way?

Also, how can I tell my *arr stack to look for files inside collection torrents too? Say I want Iron Man 1, but the only torrent with sufficient seeds is e.g. Phase-1.MCU.1080x720p or some weird ass name like that, that contains Iron Man 1 along with all the other files. How can I tell Radarr to use that torrent?

EDIT: Apologies, should have specified, I did get this working before posting here. Ran a bash script to create subfolders for each *.mkv in the parent folder, and cleaned up the names with regex. Then went to Wanted -> Manual Import and Radarr could successfully identify the movies. But the name cleanup was the most important I think.

So a tool would have to rely on something other than the name to identify the movie like a fingerprint or somesuch

A new Insurance Institute for Highway Safety study compared smartphone telematics with police reports for almost 17,000 crashes in Connecticut, Illinois, Ohio, and Texas. After excluding passive screen activity such as an untouched navigation display, the data still show a huge gap: phones detected active use before crashes far more often than police documented it.

I already have a self hosted crypto rail but for many people that is not an option, bank transfer is quite easy to do with just checking against my bank’s API, but remembering from the data before i got terminated it was around 40% transfer, 40% ideal, 20% card.

Is there anyway to self host those other payment ways outside transfer?

Today’s game is Project Zomboid. Me and some friends got back on our world and even got a new person on. I took the chance to blacksmith them a weapon and even build a fancy new materials cabinet. I asked them what they wanted and they said a machete, so i tried to make one for them. It was a little more of a headache finding the materials, but i did eventually get there.

More excitingly, i tried making one of our characters a set of plate armor. I mixed things up a little bit but the whole thing came out pretty coherent. They said they liked how mixed up the parts are because it makes them feel like an “apocalypse knight”, so it looks like i wont be returning to the forge.

We had started to run low on food, so we all piled up into the mom van and took a trip to raid the local neighborhood houses. I ended up nabbing a deepfreeze i found too and loaded that in the backseat. I found we were running low on fridge space, as while our chef is low on food they insist on keeping raccoon heads in the freezer. As they are our main food person we have no choice but to comply.

Finally, we returned home for the night. We’ve been talking about making a trip into Louisville which would be interesting. Our new player was sure it “can’t be that bad” so we’ll have some fun seeing their opinion i suppose. We had everyone log off after and i went back to my Pokemon Platinum.

Stichting Massaschade & Consumer has today subpoenaed Snap, the company behind Snapchat, at the court of Amsterdam because of the addictive design of the app. It is the first time that a Dutch judge has to rule on the addictive design of social apps, after a wave of similar cases in countries such as the United States.

Characteristic features such as the ‘streak’ and the ‘snap score’ put users under pressure to open the app over and over again, while the European platform law requires apps of this magnitude to protect users from it.

That is why we demand a series of adjustments to the app, and a fee on behalf of Dutch users for the years that that protection was lacking.
